A native of Houston, Texas, Miriah Soliz joined Morrow & Sheppard LLP in 2017, and is now advocating on behalf of plaintiffs as an associate attorney. At a young age, Miriah realized how important the role of an attorney-client relationship can be for someone trying to find their way in the justice system. She became interested in the law and speaking on behalf of others to ensure that their rights and needs are recognized after volunteering in several legal organizations. Seeing firsthand how an attorney can give a voice to someone who would otherwise be silenced had a significant impact on Miriah. She always dreamed of being a fierce advocate for the less fortunate and making a difference in the lives of ordinary people.
Miriah has extensive experience in navigating the multiple stages of litigation, including drafting legal documents, leading depositions, managing discovery, and assisting at trial in matters from empaneling jurors to successfully arguing against defenses’ claims in front of a judge. Miriah has always had a vision of making sure people and small businesses have their voices heard when pitted against large corporations and insurance carriers.
